Company Introduction：

The anthea group has developed a patented, eco-friendly process to manufacture piperonyl butoxide (pbo), which is used in a wide range of applications. Pbo is produced by our group company, catàsynth speciality chemicals. An insecticide or pesticide used in combination with a synergist like pbo is more resistant to enzymatic breakdown, which increases the effectiveness of crop-protection and pest-control products. Catàsynth is only the second company in the world to produce pbo through the sustainable pyrocatechol route. We are optimistic that the increasing use of our pyrocatechol-based pbo will significantly reduce the rampant deforestation that takes place in countries such as myanmar, laos, vietnam and cambodia.
